News that Dallas nurse Nina Pham's dog had been quarantined after she tested positive for Ebola apparently stirred up fears among Ohio pet owners, as state veterinarian Tony Forshey, MD, saw a need to reassure residents that little or no evidence suggests that Ebola poses a threat to their four-legged friends.

Concern about Ebola has even spread to football, as Rutgers University head coach Kyle Flood briefed his team about the status of the viral disease in Ohio before traveling to Columbus to play Ohio State on Saturday.
