Ebola Doctor Spencer Upgraded to Stable at NYC’s Bellevue

Craig Spencer, the New York doctor with Ebola, is now in stable condition after more than a week of treatment at Bellevue Hospital Center in Manhattan.

Spencer’s improvement from his previous condition of “serious but stable” is based on his “clinical progress and response to treatment,” according to a statement e-mailed today from the New York City Health and Hospitals Corp., the network that includes Bellevue.
