Smiley was born with dwarfism and without eyes, but the puppy has led a happy, healthy life despite that. The 12-year-old-pup was saved by Joanne George of Stouffville, Canada. George's altruistic behavior helped the pup become a certified therapy dog through the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog program. The pup is an inspiration for patients in hospitals and nursing homes. Not only this, he also helps kids focus on their reading.
George jumped on to the idea of sharing Smiley after realizing so many people are drawn to him and so inspired by him.
