Dutch experts zero in on cause of MH17 crash

Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 was shot down, possibly by a surface to air missile, over eastern Ukraine on July 17, Dutch investigators said in a preliminary report released Tuesday.

"High-energy objects from outside the aircraft" caused the crash of the Boeing 777, which was traveling from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The crash killed all 298 passengers and crew aboard, 192 of them Dutch. A full report is expected within a year of the crash.
