Duke Researchers Look into Underground Impact of Missiles and Meteors

This isn’t something one would think about every day, not even in these troubled times, but it can be fascinating to wonder what happens to underground surfaces upon the impact of a missile or a meteor. With this question in mind, a team of Duke University scientists tried to answer it in a new study.
