DSCOVR launch delayed again, third attempt to be on Wednesday, Cargo ship from ISS is home

17 years ago, then Vice President Al Gore inspired the government to create a space weather satellite. The said satellite called DSCOVR was supposed to be launch last Sunday but then moved to Tuesday due to some technical issues. On Tuesday though, the launch was again grounded due to high upper level of winds.

DSCOVR was supposed to be launch atop the Falcon 9 rocket at 6:05 p.m. During launch preparation, no technical problem arise and the local weather was good but weather balloons indicated severe wind shear between 25,000 and 30,000 feet.
