Drought means cleaner ocean water in Southern California, says Heal the Bay Beach Report Card

The state’s drought has come with a silver lining for Southern California beaches — cleaner water quality up and down the coast during the summer months, according to the annual Heal the Bay report released today.

In what’s become an annual tradition before the Memorial Day weekend, the Santa Monica nonprofit released its Beach Report Card — doling out grades based on the water quality for all the beaches along the California coast.
