Drop in Population of Puget Sound’s Endangered Killer Whales

Concerns have been raised about the Puget Sound's endangered killer whales. Since 2012, no new birth of the killer whale has happened. Two of the region's whales died this year.

A decline in the population has also been witnessed. Now, population of J, K and L pods stands at 78, which is the lowest since 1985. Experts affirmed that these whales are also not socializing the way they used to previously.
