Drone GoPro camera captures astounding footage of Icelandic volcanic eruption

For more than a month, Iceland’s Bardarbunga volcano has been spewing the lava into air. This has created a condition in which the whole atmosphere of the region is covered from a quilt of ashes. In spite of statutory warnings and advice to people for not going near the site, two audacious people a film director and a photographer went to the location and captured magnificent high definition images and videos of the volcanic eruption. Using a drone, fitted with a GoPro action camera, the pair was able to obtain splendid and phenomenal images of the volcano’s boisterous and blistering core.

Eric Cheng, director of aerial imaging for drone-maker, DJI, along with photographer Ragnar Th. Sigurdsson performed this dicey task of capturing the video on 20th September.
