Read More » As we reported yesterday, Drake and Diddy got into a brawl Sunday night that reportedly sent the former to the hospital with a dislocated shoulder. But what exactly were the two rappers fighting over? Many assumed it was over Diddy's girlfriend Cassie Ventura, but it was actually over another very important aspect in the rappers' lives: a potential Grammy award. drake parties in miami before fight A source tells TMZ Drake's current hit single "0 to 100," which landed him a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song, caused the fight. Producer Boi-1da gave both Drake and Diddy rights to record the song more than 8 months ago.  While Diddy decided to sit on it, Drake got antsy and decided to record it himself, only recently releasing it, which pissed off the veteran rapper. Diddy saw Drake for the first time since the song was released on Sunday night at LIV nightclub in Miami Beach, and he confronted the "Started From the Bottom" rapper who just blew him off.  That's when Diddy allegedly said, "You'll never disrespect me again" and initiated the brawl.
