Dragon Dinosaur Discovered: Canadian Archaeologists Discover Dragon-Like Dinosaur in China

A so-called dragon dinosaur was discovered in China by archaeologists from the University of Alberta. The ancient dinosaur fossil was discovered near the town of Quijiang the name of which it was given.

According to the scientists the dinosaur had to measure 15 meters long and lived about 160 million years ago. It was given the name of Qijianglong, which means “the Qijiang dragon,” referring to the southern Chinese city near which the discovery was made.
