Dogs capable of Recognizing Human Facial Expressions

A new study suggests that dogs have capability to recognize human facial expressions. For the experiment, researchers utilized images of people, displaying happy and sad faces. The researchers gave training to the dogs so that they react to pictures and select their response in return of treats.

According to the researchers, the images of people with neutral expressions were shown to dogs with the back of the same subject's head.
