DOD rocket to launch from Wallops Island early Sunday

WALLOPS ISLAND -- The launch of a suborbital sounding rocket from NASA Wallops Flight Facility on a Department of Defense mission is set to take place between midnight and 2 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 12.

The launch of the Terrier-Lynx rocket had been scheduled for Oct. 1 but was postponed. NASA officials did not give the reason for the delay.
