Disqualified high school rodeo artist speaks out

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo recently disqualified a Splendora High School senior’s rodeo art submission because the content included a firearm, which goes against the rules of the rodeo art competition.

New Caney resident Chase Otts is a graphic artist, homecoming king and a future Eagle Scout. He’s the hands behind the controversial piece.
