Dinosaurs might have Consumed Hallucinogenic fungus

According to a new study conducted by a group of researchers from the Oregon State University, there is a possibility that dinosaurs and animals that consume grass might have munched a hallucinogenic fungus from a 100-million-year-old grass sample, which was conserved in amber.

Hallucinogenic fungus grew on prehistoric grass. According to researchers, the 100-million-year-old grass sample was topped by a fungus similar to ergot that is a precursor to psychedelic compound lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD).
