Dinosaur Killer Helped the Jungles

Everyone has learned about dinosaurs and the meteor that wiped them into extinction some 66 million years ago. According to what scientists have known for years now, the 10 km in diameter chunk of rock connected with the earth at the Yukatan Peninsula near the site of the tiny town of Chicxulub with a force of 100 teratons of TNT.

The meteor left a crater more than 150 km across. There doesn’t seem to be a sector of the world that these mammoths, sea beast, and jet like creatures did not inhabit.
