Dignity Health Care systems agrees to pay $37 million to settle consequences against offensive act of overbilling

Dignity Health, one of the five largest hospitals in US has agreed to pay $37 million in order to settle allegations claimed against its 13 of 39 hospitals. The three-state based hospital, commonly known as Catholic Healthcare West, was under contentions of charging extra bills for inpatient care. According to the Justice Department, hospitals in Arizona, California and Nevada, could have treated these outpatients with comparatively lesser rates.
