Detroit Symphony Orchestra gets $2M for community concerts

A $2 million gift to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra will help support free community concerts.

The Detroit Free Press reports ( ) the funding from the DTE Energy Foundation is in large part earmarked to support three more years of Community Concert Week, which is presented by the orchestra each fall across the region.
