Detroit art museum hitting the suburban trail

Masterpieces from the Detroit Institute of Arts are hitting the trail — the Huron River Trail, to be exact.

The Detroit museum is working with the Huron River Watershed Council to host exhibitions along several riverfront towns, including Ann Arbor, Dexter and Milford. The outdoor staging of reproductions of paintings is part of the DIA's Inside/Out project.
