Deer taken outside Holmes County ranch show no signs of wasting disease

The deadly deer malady known as CWD hasn’t seeped out of the Holmes County captive deer preservewhere it was confirmed in October, but at least two deer traced to World Class Whitetails of Ohio have been killed outside the ranch.

World Class Whitetails has remained under quarantine since October after CWD, or chronic wasting disease, was identified in one of the hunting preserve’s deer.
