DEATH for Jamaat's 'moneyman'

There is perhaps no better phrase to describe the harrowing dynamics of torture and murder of civilians at the Al-Badr headquarters in Chittagong during the Liberation War, 1971.

Mir Quasem Ali, the man who ran that death factory, was sentenced to hang yesterday for torture and murder of killing a teenaged freedom fighter and two civilians at the Al-Badr centre after abduction.
