Dead whale left on Guam shore to decompose

Officials have decided to let a dead whale in Agat decompose instead of trying to remove it, according to Agat Mayor Carol Tayama, who said residents are advised to stay away from the area.

The 38-foot baleen whale, or filter-feeding whale, weighing 20 tons, washed ashore sometime last week.
