'Dead Poets Society,' 'Pacific Overtures' on tap at CSC

The world premiere stage adaptation of "Dead Poets Society," a David Ives play and a revival of Stephen Sondheim's musical "Pacific Overtures" are the highlights of the Classic Stage Company's upcoming season.

The off-Broadway company said Monday its new season under incoming artistic director John Doyle will feature Academy Award winner Tom Schulman adapting his "Dead Poets Society" for the stage, starting in October. Doyle will direct.
