Indianapolis, Ind. (March 6th 2015) — As many Hoosiers set their clocks ahead an hour this weekend for Daylight Saving Time, others are still fighting for a time zone change. The Central Time Coalition is leading the effort, saying Indiana residents would benefit more from being on Central Time. Members visited the Statehouse on Thursday to revisit the debate.
Back in 2005, lawmakers voted on the issue. All Indiana counties were required to observe daylight saving time, but since then, there’s been a disagreement about the “correct” time zone within those counties.
