An artist who has produced paintings of President Barack Obama daily since his first inauguration will have the work-in-progress displayed in Detroit.
Rob Pruitt's "The Obama Paintings" debuts on Friday at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit. The exhibit consists of roughly 2,300 2-foot-by-2-foot paintings featuring white illustrations on a canvas covered in a spectrum of red-to-blue.
