Dawn spacecraft releases high-resolution images of Ceres

The Dawn spacecraft, launched by NASA to investigate the dwarf planet Ceres, has sent back high-resolution images of its northern polar region ias it bathes in the light of the sun.

Arriving at the dwarf planet on March 6th, the space probe has been adjusting its orbit around Ceres for several weeks now.
