There may be some sweet news for all of you with a sweet tooth. A new study suggests chocolate can be good for your health. Dark chocolate contains plant substances called polyphenols that help keep blood vessels healthy and prevent high blood pressure.

Now new research from the American Heart Association found that polyphenols also affecting biochemicals that prompt arteries to widen which may help reduce oxidative stress and improve blood flow in peripheral arteries, which carry blood to the legs, stomach, arms and head.
