Dance Review: Pennsylvania Ballet’s ‘Swan Lake’

Four programs into its 51st season, Pennsylvania Ballet is now presenting the “Swan Lake” it commissioned from Christopher Wheeldon in 2004. The plans for the six-program 2014-15 season have, however, taken a twist unforeseen when initially arranged by Roy Kaiser. Mr. Kaiser, the troupe’s artistic director since 1995, unexpectedly stepped aside last spring; the current schedule, which started last October and concludes this June, is being overseen by his successor, the internationally acclaimed classical dancer Ángel Corella.
