CSUF Alumna and FDA reviewer to lead seminar on breast cancer screening

Breast cancer detection methods are rapidly changing as new technologies make their way into the marketplace, but before they do, officials at the Food and Drug Administration must make sure these new detection methods are safe and effective.

Anita Nosratieh, Ph.D., a Food and Drug Administration lead reviewer and Cal State Fullerton alumna, is one of the individuals tasked with that responsibility. She will be presenting on new cancer detection methods overseen by her department when she comes to campus on Feb. 25 for a seminar.
