The No. 1 selling solo artist in U.S. history is coming out of retirement. Garth Brooks, who hung up his guitar in the early 2000s, announced Thursday during a press conference that he has signed a deal with Sony Music and has plans for a tour and a new album.
He will also make his songs available digitally on his website. Brooks was one of the last musicians to refuse to put his music on iTunes.
