Alzheimer’s disease, which is characterized by loss of memory, remains one of the most concerning health conditions today, and now, a team of researchers have discovered a new non-invasive ultrasound technology that could be used to treat it and even possibly restore memory.

This new innovative drug free approach works by breaking apart the neurotoxic amyloid plaques that result in memory loss and cognitive decline, the researchers of University of Queensland (UQ) explain.
