Reports have emerged in recent days that NASA is seriously considering a plan to create a cloud city above the scorching surface of Venus, allowing us to learn more about our closest neighbor. But perhaps an equally huge scientific benefit of such an endeavor could be that it will pave the way for a journey to the Red Planet.
