Consumer credit growth slowed in April after reaching a 15-year high the previous month as consumers reined in credit-card usage.
Total consumer credit increased $13.4 billion in April, the Federal Reserve said Tuesday. That's below the $18 billion median estimate of economists surveyed by Bloomberg.
