Combination of Ticagrelor With Aspirin Drastically Reduce Heart Risks

The PEGASUS trail reveals that combination of ticagrelor (Brillinta) and aspirin significantly reduce the hazards of heart diseases. However, the drugs ascend the risk of TIMI major bleeding in patients with myocardial infarction. Health experts recommend a dose of 90 mg of Brillinta with low-dose of aspirin for this purpose. In comparison, the other heart related drugs increase the risk of dyspnea in patients as well. The result of trail is explained in detail in the New England Journal of Medicine.
