Clinic receives grant to improve HPV vaccination rates

MARSHFIELD –Marshfield Clinic researchers are hoping to improve human papillomavirus, or HPV, vaccination rates among adolescents in the health system's coverage area with the help of a $620,000 grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The funding will be used for academic and peer education for health care providers at clinic sites in Marshfield, Wausau, Weston, Rice Lake, Merrill, Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls and Minocqua during the next two years, beginning in February.
