Climate Change Poses Risk to Survival of Western Glacier Stonefly

According to a new study, habitat of western glacier stonefly has been decreasing gradually since the early 1960s. The stonefly is found in Glacier National Park only and was discovered in the region in 1963, mainly in the local streams.

Scientists started studying six streams in 2011, in which the stonefly had been found earlier.
