Climate change is a key issue for the faithful, too

On Sept. 21, more than 166 countries held nearly 2,800 events in which over 600,000 people hit the streets to promote actions to stop the effects of climate change. More than 310,000 marched in New York’s “People’s Climate March,” making it the largest march in history to promote combating climate change. The goal? To get governments to take stanch, sweeping action on climate issues.
