Chronic kidney disease, another reason why air pollution needs to be curbed

There are already plenty of reasons why air pollution needs to be curbed and now a new study has found that air pollution could raise the risk of chronic kidney disease (CKD).

For the study, the researchers took into account patient risk factors including age, diabetes and hypertension. After study they found a link between the prevalence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the increasing level of particulate matter (PM) in some areas in the United States.
