The Christmas Bird Count is On!

Every year, the National Audubon Society hosts and sponsors a national event called the Christmas Bird Count. This year, they held it on December 14th, and all of the bird-watchers and ornithology fanatics have flocked—pun intended—to collect data regarding the pollution of bird habitats; information that is actually extremely valuable to ecologists as well as non-profit organizations.
