The cholesterol-lowering drug Vytorin may be effective for heart attacks, says AHA

In a research conducted by the American Heart Association, it is stated that patients taking Vytorin have experienced a lesser number of heart attacks, strokes and hospitalizations than those who have just been taking statins. The study took under consideration 18,144 patients, who were under high risk and they had been taking Vytorin. The drug Vytorin is a combination of a statin and non-statin; Zocor and Zetia. It showed that this combination is a remedial intake in patients.
