Chocolate Could Reverse Memory Loss

According to a new study by neurologists at New York’s Columbia University Medical Center published just yesterday in Nature Neuroscience, chocolate could reverse memory loss. While their study was admittedly limited, the research team determined that a specific component of cocoa can improve memory and retard memory loss.

The researchers observed 37 people, aged 50 to 69, who were given a special drink –much like a protein shake supplement—that contained either a high or a low dose of cocoa flavanols for three months.
