A Chipotle crisis began last week when an E. coli outbreak was linked to the popular restaurant chain. The company has closed 43 restaurants in Oregon and Washington as a dozen people have been sent to the hospital.
The Tex-Mex chain is the latest big food brand to endure a food-borne illness crisis this year. Most notably, Texas-based Blue Bell ice cream recalled all of its products in April after they were linked to at least three listeria deaths.
