Supercomputing has evolved greatly since IBM's Deep Blue beat world chess champion Garry Kasparov. The one thing that hasn't changed, however, is the competition to be number one in power and capability. For the fourth straight judging, China's Tianhe-2, a supercomputer developed by China's National University of Defense and Technology, has beat the Oak Ridge National Laboratory's Titan supercomputer.
