China Imprisons Businesswoman in Rail Graft Case

A Beijing court says a businesswoman linked to China's fallen ex-railway minister has been convicted of bribery and sentenced to 20 years in prison.

The Beijing No. 2 Intermediate People's Court said Tuesday it had also convicted Ding Yuxin of illegal business operations in relation to her helping 23 companies win the bidding for 57 projects. For this, she personally received 2 billion yuan ($330 million).
