Researchers at an excavation site near China have recently conducted a dig at a cemetery they believe dates back approximately 1,700 years, along an area which would have been part of the ancient trade route between China and the Roman Empire; a trade route known as the Silk Road.

The researchers found the cemetery within the city of Kucha, located within the region Northwest China, today. Within the cemetery, the research team found ten tombs; seven of which, when excavated, turned out be very large brick structures.
