The most expected attendees of the United Nation’s Climate Summit told Ban Ki-moon that they will not make it to the summit. The said attendees are President Xi Jinping of China and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Although their absence will not be fatal to the summit, their commitment is expected to combat climate change.

The UN meeting aims to discuss the ways in combating global warming and the ways to mitigate its impact. It is not a negotiating session and it aims that it will serve as a turning point in making a universal climate agreement and generate climate actions.
