Child rights protection remains a far cry in Pakistan

Even though the International Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) binds signatory states to ensure protection of child rights without discrimination of any kind, children in Pakistan continue to be among the country’s most vulnerable population, and face serious disadvantages in the fields of socio-economic development. Since November 20, 2014, marks 25 years since the adoption of CRC, is high time Pakistan takes concrete actions to protect child rights.
