ROME: Media reports claim that United States led air strike on IS’s stronghold of Raqqa in northern Syria has reportedly killed the Islamic State (IS) group’s chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi on Sunday.
Citing Arabic media as the source of the news, the Turkish daily Yeni Safak published a report on Monday which said that Baghdadi was killed in air raids conducted on Syria. The daily also said that local media was citing the news agency al-Amaq, which leans towards the IS group, also known as ISIS....
