Chicago child tests negative for Ebola

Chicago health officials on Saturday declared that a child being monitored for Ebola in a hospital in the state has tested negative for the deadly virus and has been discharged from the hospital.

The child was detected with fever by federal officials screening for Ebola at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago. The health officials held the child in isolation at the University of Chicago Medical Center for monitoring since Friday.
