The weekend box office of 6-8 March 2015 was the least exciting of the year, with pictures gathering modest sums and with not so tight competitions. We had our share of Friday – 6 March – releases, but although in top positions, the gathered figures are not impressive. Thus, in the leading position we meet Chappie, Sci-Fi robot action directed by Neill Blomkamp, picture which reached a total of $13,300,000 gross. In the following positions we get last week lead Focus, followed by another 6 March released picture, but this time a comedy drama: The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
Although a box office lead, Chappie did not impress as much as some expected and that is proven by the incontestable figures.
